| Temporary De-escalation Center
• For clients, ages 6-21, who are in need of short-term placement.
• On-site homebound school instruction provided by a licensed teacher.
• Individual and group counseling provided.
• Comprehensive psychosocial assessments provided upon request.
• 24-hour awake supervision, plus a master’s level on-call staff member available for emergencies.
• Nursing services via registered nurse.
Family Counseling Center of Anderson
• Provides counseling for marital conflict, parent-child conflict,
child adjustment problems, divorce, family relationships, personal tensions,
grief adjustments, depression, and other areas of need
• FCC is open to the public; charges are based on a sliding scale
• No person is refused for inability to pay
High Management Group Home
• Males and Females, ages 10-18, are considered for admission
• Clients are generally classified as emotionally handicapped,
physically or sexually abused, or dependent neglected
• Education: Grades 1-12 may attend public school or the New Foundations
Clinical Day Program
• Individual, family, and group therapy are provided
• Shadowing, transportation, and case coordination are all provided
to the clients
• Capacity for this program is 40 clients
Supervised Independent Living
• Serves adolescents, ages 16-21, who have achieved success in
their preceding environment
• Prepares clients for a stable transition into the community
• Counselors educate and assist clients in daily living skills
concentrating on employment, financial management, and independence
• Individual and family therapy are offered
• Capacity for this program is 10 male clients and 12 female clients
in Pathways; 14 clients in Cluster
Therapeutic Family Services
• Works to minimize moves from placement to placement for children
in biological and foster homes
• Serves families in Abbeville, Anderson, Greenville, Greenwood,
Spartanburg, Laurens, Oconee, and Pickens counties
• Program includes individual, marital, and family therapy, transportation,
family forums, parent training, phone contact, crises response, case
coordination, structured play therapy, and respite care
• Clinical Wrap Services through TFS provide following services:
behavior management, substitute care giving, therapy, tutoring, and
restorative life skills
Training Department
• Develop, provide, and facilitate new employees orientation training
• Develop, provide, and facilitate yearly reorientation training
• Develop and facilitate community based on workshops
• Facilitate individualized training to further support New Foundation’s
employees
• Provide training opportunities for outside agencies
Wrap Around Services
• Provides additional services to clients in order to maintain
the current placement
• Provides transportation services statewide
• Provides clinical services throughout the Upstate
